Vincent Gotti – Master Cutter, Educator
Vincent Gotti is well known for his PRECISION CUTS here at Mu Salon. He is now our Master Cutter specializing in haircuts only. Vincent studied at the posh Vidal Sassoon Academy in London where he developed his sense of style and beauty and mastered the art of precision cutting. He has spent the last seventeen years as a hair cutter in prestigious salons in the Bay area. He joined MU Salon when we first opened in 2008 as our Director of Education; teaching the ABC Cutting Method of Vidal Sassoon. Aside from being a visionary in the hair industry, Vincent’s other passion is photography. He spent years in Asia sharpenning his skills and developing his craft. In 2011, Vincent decided to take his passion to the next level by opening The Candy Factory Studio, a hub where up and rising models develop their portfolios. To add another feather to his cap, Vincent was assigned to be the Director of Photography for GEV Magazine, a fashion/food/lifestyle magazine where he is responsible for most of the major editorial and cover shots. He believes that the foundation to every hairstyle and color starts at the very shape of the cut. Once you have a great hair cut; everything falls into shape. |
