Playing in bands for over 15 years is what sparked Alanna’s inspiration to cut and color hair. Being the creative eye for her bands, she always enjoyed giving trendy new looks to her band mates.

Being committed to her ongoing education, she has studied under leading names including L’Oreal Professionnel, Redken, Wayne Grund razor techniques and Vidal Sassoon precision cutting. Alanna is certified in Hairdreams hair extension, Xtended Beauty eyelash extensions and keratin smoothing treatment by Coppola.

Alanna believes that there is so much more than duplicating a style out of a book. Whether you are a rock star or a professional working man or woman, she will work with you to develop and personalize your desired look and bring out the best in you.

Amber realized she had a passion for the beauty and fashion industry at a very young age. She completed beauty school and received her cosmetology license at the age of 17. She finds inspiration and support for her creativity from her diverse group of family and friends.

Having primarily used Phyto over the past six years, she has become a specialist in this product line. She believes beautiful hair starts with healthy hair.

Amber is certified in Hairdreams hair extensions, Keratin Complex hair smoothing treatment by Coppola and Xtended Beauty eyelash extensions. She has also received extensive education in Reken cut and color as well as Vidal Sassoon’s abc precision cutting techniques.

Having a background in the makeup industry has given Bonnie a great eye for color and the ability to give her clients a look that fits their image. Bonnie started working early, at the age of 16, as a beauty advisor for Lancome and later as a freelance makeup artist for MAC.

Inspired by her success in the makeup industry, Bonnie decided to take her career to the next level by completing cosmetology school. Once she received her cosmetology license, she spent the next two years sharpening her skills by assisting the owner of one of the top salon in Danville and learning Vidal Sassoon cutting techniques at a salon in Lafayette.

Bonnie’s advanced education includes completion of the ABC classic cutting course at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in San Francisco. She has completed advanced cut and color courses from Matrix. Bonnie is a tier 1 Redken artist, part of the Redken Educator Network in color. She is also certified in keratin smoothing treatment by Coppola and Hairdreams hair extensions.

Focusing on hair, makeup and fashion, Bonnie is very passionate about the beauty industry. Her accomplishments include published editorials for various online and print magazines. She is a busy mother of two beautiful babies, only 11 months apart, but still manages to pursue a successful career as a hair and makeup artist. She believes that whether a busy mother or a strong woman in the professional world, every woman owes it to herself to look and feel her best.

“Beauty is different for every woman but my job is to find the ultimate look for my client that compliments their personal image. With the right cut and color, you can just wash and go and your hair should still look amazing.”

Prior to his career in the hair industry, Vincent worked as a fashion photographer in Asia. He has also served as a make-up artist for one of the leading hair companies in the United States; traveling all over the country to stage hair shows. In 1996, Vincent went to London to pursue advanced studies in precision cutting techniques at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy. In the United States, Vincent started his career as a hair stylist in one of the top salons in San Francisco. He then moved to Burlingame and built an impressive clientele in the area over the next 10 years. In 2002, Vincent moved to the San Ramon area splitting his time between the East Bay and the Peninsula, where he continues to have a loyal following.
Vincent joined the Mu Salon artistic team as the Director of Education where he currently teaches the ABC cutting methods of Vidal Sassoon.
Vincent likes to spend his spare time indulging in his first passion which is photography. He is also very involved in his son and daughter’s school activities and always support their schools fund raising events by donating his services. He is an active supporter of Elderly Care in the Contra Costa area and is involved in different advocacies for the Seniors in the Danville area.
